Our Mission
Friends of New River Gorge National Park and Preserve advocates, raises funds, and secures resources to preserve, restore, and enhance the natural beauty, features, systems, and cultural heritage of New River Gorge National Park and Preserve, Bluestone National Scenic River, and Gauley River National Recreation Area.
Our Vision
To be the vital partner in the future enhancement of our park’s natural, cultural, and historical resources through robust community stewardship, increased public understanding, and a legacy of preservation and recreation.
